Climate Action with CEPAD

How women are taking the lead in building sustainability, climate resilience and hope in the face of the climate emergency in Central America.

Climate Action with CEPAD

Climate Action with CEPAD
September 2024

Climate change is a justice issue
Those with the least political and economic power (especially women and girls) and the least responsibility for the changing climate are affected the most. Join us to hear how our partner, CEPAD, is working with women and rural communities in Nicaragua to build sustainability and climate resilience.

Find out about how our Climate Fellowship Programme is supporting 12 young women across Central America and Mexico as they bring hope through local action in the face of the climate emergency and hear their stories.

With Emily Reyes, Joel Rodriguez and Cairo Cortez from CEPAD in Nicaragua.
