Words of Hope – online Every Tuesday at 5pm
Every Tuesday at 5pm we come together for Words of Hope — 30 minutes of quiet, creative reflection. Please join us.
Every October, we ask women in the UK to stand in solidarity with women in Gaza by hosting fundraising events throughout the Autumn or by donating to our Women 4 Women Appeal. So many people ask about this campaign all year round so we are more than happy for you to support this amazing work at any time of year.

Every year, to mark breast cancer awareness month (or Rosy October as it’s called in Gaza), we ask women to come together to do something they love, to raise awareness and vital funds to help the women of Gaza to access the breast cancer screening programme at Al Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza City.
Past events have included coffee mornings, art exhibitions, gigs, Palestinian dinners, clothes swaps, exhibitions, gin tasting, marathons, interactive installations and church services. Just £60 provides breast cancer screening and support for one woman in Gaza.
Please help us help as many women as possible gain access to screening by making a donation to our Women 4 Women appeal here.

Screening is so simple and so effective — if we can work with women so that they can identify breast cancer early, we can treat it. We need to make screening normal for women and change traditional attitudes. At the moment too many die, they are scared that if diagnosed they will be shunned by their families. Stories, not numbers. When the world talks about Palestinians living under occupation and in refugee camps, it is usually in terms of politics and numbers. But numbers are impersonal, and often numbing. We Are Not Numbers are a Palestinian youth advocacy organisation who tell the human stories behind the numbers in the news from Gaza.
Al Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza City was bombed on 17th October 2023 — up to 500 people were killed. Despite the extreme adversity, the Al Ahli Hospital staff and volunteers are committed to serving the community through out-patient and in-patient care.
The Boycott Puma Campaign seeks to put pressure on the sportswear company Puma to end their sponsorship of the Israel Football Association, who as documented by Human Rights Watch, includes 6 Israeli football clubs based in illegal Israeli settlements on occupied Palestinian land. Puma’s current and past exclusive licensees in Israel also have operations in illegal Israeli settlements.
In 2009, all the main Palestinian churches came together to form Kairos Palestine. Their campaign has enjoyed recent success with the Quakers, URC and Methodists. Now see how you can become involved with Sabeel-Kairos in pressing denominations to change and with the wider work undertaken.
Israel overtly uses culture as a form of propaganda to justify its apartheid policies and occupation of the Palestinian territories. Palestinian anti-apartheid activists have called on international artists, writers, cultural institutions and those who work for them to join the cultural boycott of Israel.
Amos Trust believes that it is vital that we listen to, and act upon the Palestinian civil society call for a military embargo on Israel because of its violations of international law during its frequent attacks on Palestinians. In the UK, this campaign has been led by Campaign Against the Arms Trade, the Palestine Solidarity Campaign and War on Want.
In 2005, Palestinian civil society issued a call for a campaign of boycotts, divestment and sanctions (BDS) against Israel until it complies with international law and Palestinian rights. A truly global movement against Israeli Apartheid is rapidly emerging in response to this call.
