Like everyone, we welcomed the long-overdue ceasefire on 9th October — a moment of fragile relief after a year of unimaginable loss. Families are finally returning to what’s left of their homes, searching for the remains of loved ones buried beneath rubble. The long, painful work of rebuilding lives can, at last, begin. But this is not the end. Not yet.
Gaza Appeal — October 2025
Act for Gaza. Stand for Palestine.
We must not mistake this ceasefire for justice — or for freedom. The occupation continues, and with it, the daily violence and denial of rights that Palestinians face. Over 68,000 people have been killed in Gaza, 170,000 injured, and another 1,000 Palestinians have been killed on the West Bank since October 2023.
Now, more than ever, we need to act — for Gaza, and for Palestine as a whole.
We must keep demanding that our government stop arming Israel, that international law is upheld and that the occupation ends. And we must continue supporting those on the ground who are helping to rebuild lives and restore hope.
What your support makes possible
1. Food and humanitarian aid
As aid convoys begin to enter Gaza, needs are slowly easing. But many families remain cut off and unable to access help. Through our local partners, we’re providing targeted, life-saving support where it’s needed most.

2. Essential medical care
Al Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza City has been hit eight times during the genocide and remains desperately short of medical supplies. Yet the team continues to provide emergency and surgical care — and is determined to resume general healthcare, cancer screening (especially for breast cancer), and physiotherapy for thousands of children who have lost limbs or bear the scars and burns of war.

3. Trauma support for women and children
UNICEF estimates over one million children in Gaza are deeply traumatised. Our partner DSPR’s trauma programmes help families cope, lower stress and begin to heal. With your help, they can expand this vital work and provide in-depth therapy to those who need it most.
4. Supporting Gaza’s young journalists
More than 260 journalists have been killed in Gaza — more than in all the wars of the 20th century combined. We Are Not Numbers gives young Gazans the training and platform to tell their stories — to show the world they are not just numbers. We’re helping them earn a dignified income and preserve their testimonies. Their voices must not fall silent.
5. Tent schools for Gaza’s children
Schools have been closed for two years and 95% have been damaged or destroyed. We’re working with teachers to run tent schools in Al Mawasi and Gaza City — giving children the chance to learn, play and hope again.

6. Rebuilding on the West Bank
In the South Hebron Hills and across Area C, families face home demolitions, land confiscations and settler violence. We’re helping rebuild homes and livelihoods — standing alongside communities in places like Masafer Yata and just south of Bethlehem.
This ceasefire is not the end of Gaza’s struggle — we are hoping it’s the beginning of rebuilding. Please give what you can today to help Palestinians heal, rebuild and reclaim hope.
We work alongside grass-roots partners in Palestine, South Africa, Nicaragua, Burundi, India and Tanzania.
Reaching children on the streets, addressing their trauma, working with them and their families to reintegrate them into their homes, to realise their rights and recover their future.
Working with local and international peace activists, and partnering with grass-roots projects, to call for a just peace, reconciliation and full equal rights for all Palestinians and Israelis.
Addressing the impact of climate change and the causes of extreme poverty, building sustainable rural communities and empowering them to realise their rights.
Bringing people together to meet our partners from around the world, visiting the communities they work in and seeing their projects in action — building solidarity and lasting friendships.
