Held Without Charge: A webinar with Layan Nasir and Tala Nasir Tuesday 4 February, 6pm (UK)

On 6th April 2024, Layan Nasir was taken at gunpoint from her parents’ home in the West Bank after 15 soldiers burst into her house to arrest her. She was held without charge on administrative detention until her release shortly before Christmas. Since 7th October 2023, Israel has arrested or detained over 14,000 Palestinians from Jerusalem and the West Bank and countless more from Gaza. Join Layan and human rights lawyer Tala Nasir as they discuss the appalling conditions in Israeli jails and the widespread hunger and physical, sexual and psychological abuse of Palestinian prisoners.

Amos Road Club 2025 23-26th May

This year’s annual Amos Road Club ride will take place on the Somerset Levels from Friday 23rd May to Monday 26th May. We will be based at Cheddar YHA for the weekend, where we will take over the whole site. We’ll be on the southern edge of the Mendip Hills, where a wide variety of rides are available, including easy rides to Wells, Glastonbury, Bath or Weston-super-Mare and the Bristol Channel and the chance for a pleasant detour down The Strawberry Line.
