PalArt Festival 2026 poster

“I am very pleased to see the biggest gathering of Palestinian theatre and artists. Where our spaces have been shrinking, the stage opens a world for us to raise our voices and tell our story. This year’s festival goes from history to the future with lyrical elegance.” Ahmed Masoud, founder of PalArt Collective

Beyond the stage, the festival will host live music nights, talks exploring futurism in Palestinian theatre and poetry in Palestine, and hands-on workshops. A networking evening will also take place in London in July, connecting Palestinian artists with industry professionals.

About PalArt Festival

Founded in 2021, PalArt Collective champions Palestinian artistic excellence, bringing transformative theatre to London audiences and nurturing cultural resistance through the power of storytelling. Through producing London’s only Palestinian performing arts festival, PalArt presents exceptional productions that challenge, inspire and illuminate.

Now in its fifth edition, PalArt Festival has become known for sold-out performances and for providing a springboard for new work, including Alaa Shehada’s Horse of Jenin, Ahmed Masoud’s Application 39 and Sami Abu Wardeh’s Peace de Resistance.

The festival also brings established work directly from Palestine, including productions by El-Hakawati – Palestinian National Theatre and Jenin’s The Freedom Theatre.

Alongside its theatre programme, PalArt Festival provides a platform for visual art, music and scratch performances presenting work in development.

PalArt Festival 2026 is made possible through a combination of funding, partnership and in-kind support from organisations and institutions, including Amos Trust, Amnesty International UK and Arts Council England.
