Experience Palestine: Meet local Palestinians

This trip is for those returning to Palestine and for those who have never been before — for anyone who wants a first-hand understanding of how things stand today. There is no fixed itinerary, as plans must respond to changing conditions on the ground but you’ll spend most of the trip based in Bethlehem before concluding with a short stay in Nazareth.

During the trip you’ll visit Bethlehem, Jerusalem and the surrounding areas — including historic sites that most visitors never see. You’ll visit local communities, hear about the pressures many are facing today and see the impact of settler violence and Israel’s annexation policies first-hand.

You will:

  • meet some of our inspirational local partner organisations and hear about their extraordinary work in creative resistance, advocacy and human rights
  • experience remarkable hospitality, eat wonderful food and take part in the olive harvest
  • meet local artists and musicians, find time for quiet reflection in the desert and on the shores of Galilee
  • have the opportunity to join local faith communities.

You can also extend your trip for personal travel or to volunteer with one of our partners.
