The glass Christmas bauble was born in Lauscha, a small town in Germany’s Thuringian Forest that is known for its glass-blowing. In the mid-nineteenth century, its craftspeople began making delicate glass ornaments for the Christmas tree.

Our baubles are hand-painted in Chennai, Inda from smooth papier-mâché. They’ll look lovely on any tree, and they’re a good deal more durable than those fragile glass originals!

Proceeds from every bauble go to our partner Karunalaya in Chennai, India supporting children living and working on Chennai’s streets. You’ll find them at each stop on the Amos Christmas tour.
