(((Amos Trust’s On Her Terms campaign is transforming the lives of girls and young women on the streets so that they can live free from abuse. We are journeying with them as they take control of their own lives, challenging the abuse injustice they experience daily. But we cannot do this without YOU!)))

Every year, to mark breast cancer awareness month (or Rosy October as it’s called in Gaza), we ask women to come together to do something they love, to raise awareness and vital funds to help the women of Gaza to access the breast cancer screening programme at Al Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza City.
Past events have included coffee mornings, art exhibitions, gigs, Palestinian dinners, clothes swaps, exhibitions, gin tasting, marathons, interactive installations and church services. Just £60 provides breast cancer screening and support for one woman in Gaza.
Please help us help as many women as possible gain access to screening by making a donation to our Women 4 Women appeal here.

Screening is so simple and so effective — if we can work with women so that they can identify breast cancer early, we can treat it. We need to make screening normal for women and change traditional attitudes. At the moment too many die, they are scared that if diagnosed they will be shunned by their families. Suhaila Tarazi — Director of Al Ahli Arab Hospital, Gaza City

Celebrate with our new ‘Firework’ Christmas Cards — a bold festive design that sparks conversation and supports Amos Trust’s hope-filled projects throughout Palestine. The cards feature young people from Aida Refugee Camp in Bethlehem celebrating Eid, photographed by Majd Abusrour from Alrowwad Cultural & Arts Society.
Our second book of poetry, prose, creative writing and reflection is now available. ‘Seeds Of Hope: More Thoughts and Reflections from Amos Trust’ has contributions from Zena Kazeme, Arundhati Roy, Ben Okri, Cornel West, Angela Davis, Robert Cohen, Maya Angelou and our partner Abdelfattah Abusrour. “What a wonderful collection of writing — rich, deep, broad, funny, touching, angry, and, most importantly, encouraging.” Brian Eno — producer, musician, writer and artist.
Amos Trust’s On Location exhibition introduces leading visual artists from Gaza and explores the motivations, frustrations and realities of being artists under siege. This 62-page, full-colour coffee table catalogue of the collection is printed on 200-gram silk art board and is the perfect gift for the art lover in your life.
This Christmas, help rebuild hope for Gaza’s children. Across Gaza, families are returning to what’s left of their homes — shattered walls, broken classrooms, empty streets. In the West Bank, the pressure of daily occupation grows heavier by the day. This Christmas, we’re asking you to stand with them — to help rebuild a future beyond the rubble.
Like everyone, we welcomed the long-overdue ceasefire on 9th October — a moment of fragile relief after a year of unimaginable loss. Families are finally returning to what’s left of their homes, searching for the remains of loved ones buried beneath rubble. The long, painful work of rebuilding lives can, at last, begin. But this is not the end. Not yet.
