This Christmas, the situation in Palestine is bleak
In Gaza, the death toll keeps rising and conditions get worse by the day. In the West Bank, settlement building, home demolitions and settler attacks go on unchecked.

But our partners refuse to give up on tomorrow. They’re still teaching, healing, screening and telling the truth. They’re asking us to stand with them once again, so they can keep bringing hope.

From midday 1st December to midday 8th December, your gift will be doubled through the Big Give while match funding lasts. £25 becomes £50. £100 becomes £200.

Three ways your gift brings hope

A kite flies in the blue Gazan sky with the twisted metal of a building below.

  1. £[X] pays a tent school teacher for a [week/month]
93% of Gaza’s schools have been destroyed or badly damaged. Many children have missed three years of school, and some have never been at all. Teachers take classes of up to 30 children in a tent, six days a week, through summer heat and winter rain, with almost nothing to work with. Your gift keeps them teaching.
  2. £[X] funds [a mammogram / a woman’s screening] In Her Hands
Women are holding Gaza’s families together. Al Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza City, our partner for 30 years, runs the only working mammography unit in Gaza. There’s little chemotherapy, no radiotherapy and only a trickle of medical evacuations, so early screening and surgery are often a woman’s only hope.
  3. £[X] [provides animal feed / water for a family] in Masafer Yata
With HIRN, Holy Land Trust and MA’AN Development, we’re helping rural communities in Masafer Yata and across the southern West Bank stay on their land in the face of settler violence. When they call, we respond fast with animal feed, water, medical help or emergency shelter.

Where else your gift goes

Gaza

Trauma therapy for children and families
In Gaza, there’s no “post” in post-traumatic stress, because the trauma is still happening. Our partners DSPR have specialised in trauma care since 2009. They combine play therapy for children with trauma-informed groups for mothers and one-to-one therapy for those who need it most.

Keeping children safe from unexploded bombs
20,000 tonnes of unexploded bombs and booby traps litter Gaza. Our partners Ajyal Association teach children how to play safely, how to spot danger and who to tell.

Documenting the genocide
267 journalists have been killed in Gaza, and international media are still barred. The young writers and photographers trained by We Are Not Numbers have become Gaza’s journalists. Your gift pays them for their work.

Gaza and beyond

Care for badly injured children
Through Dr Ghassan Abu Sittah’s Children’s Fund in Lebanon, you’ll help provide trauma therapy and wrap-around care for 32 badly wounded children from Gaza, each facing multiple operations.

West Bank

Creative space for young people in the refugee camps
Alrowwad’s work began in Aida Refugee Camp and now reaches young people across the West Bank’s camps through dance, music, drama, photography and film.

Your gift will go where it’s most needed across these partners. If you’re a UK taxpayer, add Gift Aid on the Big Give page and we can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give.

Our partners can’t do this alone

Donate between 1st and 8th December, your gift will go twice as far. Please give this Christmas and help carry hope into tomorrow.

Amos Trust Christmas tour 2026

Moving On Up

This Christmas, Amos Trust is hitting the road — bringing Palestinian voices, music and stories to churches and venues across the UK. From London to Glasgow, we’ll be joined by speakers, artists and musicians from Palestine and beyond for evenings of hope, solidarity and culture.

After three devastating years, our partners tell us it’s never been harder in Palestine. Yet they refuse to give up on the future. These evenings are a chance to hear their stories first-hand, to stand together at Christmas, and to find the strength to keep hoping. Come along, bring a friend and be part of something that says Palestine has a tomorrow.
